Who can use it
You must be at least 16 years old. You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity on your account.
Your content
You keep whatever rights you have in what you post. So that we can run the service, you allow us to store, display, and make images of your quotes, and to show a quote you share to anyone who has its link.
Quotes often come from other people's work. You are responsible for what you post, including making sure your use of quoted material is lawful. Keep quotes short and credit the source; a quote can be at most 1,000 characters.
People you share a link with can save a copy of that quote to their own library. Those copies remain theirs even if you stop sharing or delete the original.
What is not allowed
- Spam, automated posting, or attempts to disrupt the service
- Illegal content, harassment, or content that infringes others' rights
- Impersonating others or misrepresenting a quote's source on purpose
We may hide or remove content, or suspend accounts, that break these terms or the law. If you believe something on the site infringes your rights, contact us.
Reporting copyright infringement
If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright, email us with: the work you own, the link to the content, your contact details, and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them. We review every report, remove infringing content promptly, and may close the accounts of repeat infringers.
The service
The service is provided as is, without warranties. We may change or stop it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of content; keep your own copies of anything important.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
Changes
If we change these terms, we will update the date above. Continuing to use the service means you accept the new terms.
